Provides legal support to LGBTQ community members. They offer information about community members’ right by state and by topic. They offer services related to immigration, racial justice, HIV, healthcare, family and adoption, police and criminal justice, combatting religious exemptions, and transgender rights.

The Mathew Sheppard Foundation

Provides mental health support and focuses on providing advocacy for LGBTQ community members who have experienced a hate crime. Their website also provides information about the legal definition of a hate crime and individuals’ options for legal advocacy and support.

The National Center for Transgender Equality

Provides information, support, and advocacy for LGBTQ community members about the rights of transgender people in employment, airport security, education, immigration, Medicare, housing and homeless shelters, military records, passports, social security, and survivors of violence.

The Sylvia Rivera Law Project
